The art of the Persian miniature painting spread all over the Moghul Empire in between the 16th and 19th centuries.

In the state of Rajhastan has remained until the middle of the last century the best known school of manuscript illumination.

This painting shows a mystic warrior.

It was painted at the begining of the fifties over a older manuscript with a Persian callygraphy in the back and arabic in the front.
