Ga'u, Ancient traditional prayer box made in two pieces of silver and copper used in Tibet to carry religious objects, this one has an image of the Maitreya Buddha.

On the front are engraved the eight Tibetan Buddhist symbols.

The shell for the heard word

The umbrella for protection

The endless knot for devotion

The wheel for the unity of all things

Golden fish for release

The lotus flower for purity

And the flag of victory over ignorance.

This old piece measures 3.5" High and 2.8 Wide.
